Lets get to making
quiet monsters, forgotten places, and strange little truths that live in the corners of our world
Who am I?
Andre Nolerm is a Canadian illustrator, comics creator, and arts educator whose work blends classical fine-arts training with contemporary visual storytelling. Rooted in eight years of formal study in drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and design, Andre’s practice explores dark fantasy, folklore, and human psychology through expressive linework and narrative-driven imagery.
Based in Beaumont, Alberta, Andre creates comics, illustrations, and visual development work that pull from North American and Slavic folklore, environmental horror, and modern myth-making. His projects include October’s Debt, Heart’s Roar, P.A.C.T., and a growing catalogue of standalone illustrations and narrative studies. He is passionate about bridging traditional fundamentals with modern storytelling tools—teaching workshops, hosting drawing sessions through the Edmonton Sketch & Social group, and supporting community arts initiatives.
Andre brings the same care to community-building as he does to craft. He has worked in local schools as an art instructor and substitute teacher, and serves on the Artists’ Association of Beaumont. Whether creating worlds on the page or helping others discover their artistic voice, Andre is dedicated to the lifelong pursuit of mastery, imagination, and meaningful connection through art.
